Adding A Guarantor To A Tenancy Agreement

Can anyone help me? I rented my house for myself and my five children, I have a friend who was a guarantor, I have since been evicted for rent arrears, I have paid these arrears, but now I am told that I owe £705 legal fees, I have offered to repay, but now they say they must also receive an offer from my guarantor, Do they have the right to do so? I believed that a guarantor was only responsible if the tenant did not pay? I would be grateful for any help. Thank you x If the deed of surety has been attested and signed by the rental agent, it means that the deed is infectious, because it is someone who has nothing to do with the lease The purpose of a guarantor is to be ready to finance the rental debts of the person you personally want to guarantee.
