Agreement For Supply Of Building Materials

Due to the demand for materials that will inevitably increase if more construction sites are reopened, accompanied by longer lead times due to labor shortages, plant closures, and delays in import and transportation, customers may consider advances to secure an order and avoid program delays, even if materials must remain off-site. When a customer decides to do so, legal advice should be used to ensure that a direct payment agreement is concluded between the customer, the contractor and the supplier, and that this is supported by an appropriate guarantee, such as a certificate of unshakability, which transfers ownership of the materials to payment.
