May 2022 - 10-day Boundary Waters Canoe Trip. Alan, Paul and I entered at the South Kawishiwi River. Since the river was at flood stage, we spent our first 4 nights fairly close to the entry point. Even so, we had a great time! After a few days, the water receded enough for us to safely proceed. I opted to take my 100-500mm telephoto and was really glad I did… lots of critters posed nicely for me :-)
