July 2022 - Canoe trip to the Boundary Waters with grandson Noah. We entered at Hog Creek. It was a 2-hour paddle through a narrow and winding creek. When we arrived on Perent Lake, the wind was beginning to pick up. We talked to a group of women who were vacating the first site on the lake. They offered us the site they were leaving, but we opted to continue on to check out the next couple sites. The second site on the lake was nice but we chose to move on and look at the next one. Bingo! The next site was on an island, had a good landing, many good tent pads and great views in multiple directions.
We stayed at this site for 5 nights.
